SXSW 2022

Companies and creators from various fields gather at "SXSW 2022", which is one of the world's largest festivals for technology, music, and film. Here, various prototype works, including some that are unveiled for the first time in Japan and abroad, are exhibited at the CREATIVE INDUSTRIES EXPO.

Our first-time participation in this expo was built around the concept of "UNVEIL THE FUTURE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY." By combining technology and fashion, we presented new user experiences and values that make you feel the future.

About Exhibition

By combining cutting-edge technology, such as materials and devices, with the traditional techniques of Nishijin Ori, we have created smart textiles that strike a balance between design and functionality. In addition to these, we have also produced prototypes for something new: virtual human creation experiences, which are being unveiled for the first time in Japan and abroad. Furthermore, we've shown a concept movie that predicts the fashion of 204X, and showcased measurement technologies such as the "ZOZOSUIT 2," a body suit for 3D measurement. Our exhibition was divided into the following four categories.

Summary

Under the concept of "UNVEIL THE FUTURE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY", we exhibited prototype works in four categories: smart textiles, virtual humans, concept movies, and measurement technologies. Some of the works were shown for the first time in Japan and abroad. The ZOZO group booth, which was the largest space within the EXPO, saw a large number of visitors every day. Visitors were able to get hands-on with cutting-edge technologies developed by the ZOZO Group, have experiences, and exchange a variety of ideas with the staff, making the booth a huge success.
