A collaborative project for 3D virtual fitting demonstration by ZOZO NEXT, SoftBank, and MN Interfashion.
This is a demonstration project using the app 'ALTRM' which offers virtual clothes fitting experience online. With virtual fitting, customers can try-on clothes online anytime, anywhere, without having to visit physical stores, aiming to reduce the number of returns due to size mismatch and discomfort when worn, a challenge in online shopping, and to contribute to the improvement of Conversion Rate (CVR).
Company Initiatives
In this project, SoftBank developed the key technologies for "3D Virtual Avatar Generation" and "Virtual Fitting", while ZOZO NEXT developed an app that allows you to try on clothes on your smartphone. Furthermore, in this demonstration experiment, MN Interfashion established a new brand "ALTRM", planned and produced the clothes to be sold, and realized the digital 3D representation of the clothes that operate within the app.
